Ready to Visit a Museum?
In addition to the free passes to the Dover Children's Museum and the Morris Museum already available, the Friends of WTPL have generously donated a free pass to the Guggenheim and vouchers to the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) for use by Washington Township residents. All the passes can be checked out for three days. The Dover Children's Museum and Morris Museum passes are good for two adults and four children; the Guggenheim pass is good for two adults and children under 18 years. Since there is a limited supply of vouchers for the AMNH, only one is available to a family. Each voucher provides free general admission for an adult and free admission to one special exhibition, film, or live animal exhibition of your choice. Call the Library for more details.

Become a Friend of the Library
The Friends of the Washington Township Public Library (the “Friends”) is a non-profit organization devoted to bringing the community and the library together, encouraging the use of the library, and to support the library in developing its facilities.
The Friends hold an Annual Spring Book Sale and participate in other fundraising projects that help to fund quality programs and services beyond those provided by the library’s annual budget.
This past year the Friends have purchased Museum Passes for circulation to Washington Township residents. They have also purchased videogames for the Youth Services Department. The Friends sponsored both a spring and holiday program and luncheon for the public as well as purchased prizes for the Adult, Teen, and Children's Summer Reading Clubs.
With your help, the Friends can continue to provide the support that connects you with your community.
How can I get involved?
To join the Friends of the Library please download a form here (also available at the library) and return it to WTPL.
