Book BuddiesBook Buddies
Little Buddies (kids in grades 1 & 2) practice your reading to a Big Buddy (grades 5 and up).  This is a 6 week session three times a year – Fall, Winter & Spring.  Great volunteer opportunity for Big Buddies, great practice for Little Buddies and a great break for parents!
 
Book ClubBook Clubs
Do you love to read?  Every month we get together to talk about the book of the month and others we are reading.  A snack is always provided and book related activities are included:  Book Buzz Grade Book Club (open to grades 5-8) & 3/4 Grade Book Club (open to grades 3 & 4). Museum PassesMuseum Passes
The Friends of WTPL have purchased several museum passes for use by Washington Twp. Residents. Stop by the library to borrow FREE passes to the Liberty Science Center, Dover Children's Museum, and the Morris Museum. The passes, which have been generously donated by the Friends of the Library, can be checked out for three days and is good for two adults and four children.  Call the Library for more details.
 
Reading IdeasReading Ideas
Browse through our book lists and search our book finding resources to find some reading ideas! Also, use NoveList to find plot descriptions, reviews, and much more for over 125,000 fiction titles.  It also includes other great reader resources, such as author read-alikes, book discussion guides, and annotated book lists. Search by age, grade, genre & more.
 
Special EventsSpecial Events: Performers, Shows, Etc.
We host special programs all year including nature shows, magic shows, science workshops and programs, historical presentations, puppet shows, music programs and more.
