Mousing exercises are designed to help you learn how to use a mouse to move around a computer.

Mousing exercises

In order to do these exercises, you must be able to right click on a link and open it, double click on a link and open it, click on an object and drag it, and use a scroll bar. If you can't do these, first do the introduction to mousing above.

Try the ones suggested below or any of the others.

Requires only simple clicking:

  • Checkers
  • Concentration
  • Same Game

Requires faster clicking and mouse movement:

  • Pong
  • Gopher

Requires clicking and dragging:

  • IQ Games

 

Jigsaw puzzles

Go to http://www.jigzone.com and choose a puzzle by doing one of the following:

  • mouse over a picture, then choose from among the types of puzzles that appear below the picture.
  • click on the Puzzle of the Day in the top left column.
  • click on the one of Recent Puzzles; or
  • choose a subject from the Puzzle Gallery, then choose one of the groups, and finally choose one of the puzzles.
