2 Valentine's Day themed cards using different paper crafting techniques including dry
embossing, rubber stamping, custom colored pearls, and water coloring with ink.

Adopt - A - Shelf
Adopt a shelf runs weekly during the Teen Summer Reading Clubfrom June-July. Pick a shelf to adopt and come in about once a week to take care of your shelf, make sure it’s in order,and do other volunteer work in the library. Grades 6-12
Book Buddies
Book Buddies meet for six week sessions about four times a year. Big Buddies (teens) are paired up with Little Buddies (beginning readers in grades 1 & 2) and listen to the Little Buddies practice their reading skills!

DIY Nights & Movie Nights
Check our calendar for our next Teen DIY Night or Movie Night. The agenda is different each time. Past DIY Nights have included ClaySculpture, Jewelry Making, Duct Tape Art, Chocolate Festival, Painting, SpaNight, Origami, Smoothies, Taco Night, and many more! Movie nights include free refreshments. Grades 6-12

Readers' Theater
Grades 6-12: Our summer theater group meets weekly in July to put on a performance for the Children's Summer Reading Club in August. We usually perform a readers' theater version of a favorite children's picture book. Since our plays are readers' theater, memorizing lines is optional. We make all of our own props, scenery, and costumes during the summer and have a great time!

Teen SRC
The Teen Summer Reading Club isdesigned just for young adults who are in middle school or high school. Programs, events, contests, and prizes for teens are offered throughout the summer. Some of our annual summer programs include Readers' Theater and, everyone's favorite, our famous Chocolate Festival! The club runs from June through August and includes events each week. More information about our Teen Summer Reading Club will be available in June. Look for our Teen SRC calendar/handout. Grades 6-12
